Multi-age classrooms

Too differentiated ages in a single class may cause a lot of problems between the children. Personally, I am not for the multi-age classrooms.
The children must to communicate with persons nearly to their age. First of all, if you are younger in this type of classroom, you may not be treated too well by the ones older than you, this causing a way to exclude a child from a collective. To continue with, children with different ages have different interests. You can’t talk to a 13 years child about things that an 11 years old child would talk about. Moreover, you won’t fell very comfortable when an older child puts a nickname to a younger one. This is a again a form of exclusion.
Although there are a lot of problems, being part of a multi-age classroom has its own advantages. For example, you can learn to be more tolerant. You don’t need to be rude with everyone. In addition, you’ll learn to care about others. This will help you to have a lot of friends. Also, this helps you observe different habits at different ages, helping you to improve your own comportment.
All in all, Multi-age classrooms have their own and good parts, but is better to be careful when you choose your classmates.
