(2nd Essay) Having a pet

These furry animals are wonderful friends, sometimes being a great help in our houses. But keeping a pet in your home isn’t always quite the right decision.
You have plenty of good reasons for keeping an animal: his company, making you to never feel alone, almost always makes you laugh, always cheers you up and none the less, it protects you (mostly the dogs). A companion is every time welcomed in your life. It doesn’t matter if it’s a person or a pet, as long as you have someone to talk to, even if it doesn’t understand. It helps for you. To be happy is one of the most important things for a human being. The pet can assure you this happiness every time you need it. They are playful and full of life when they’re healthy, as the only thing you have to do is to take care of them. Also, they can assure your security, even save your life. Dogs are well known for this because of their loyalty sense. They would be able to risk their lives for saving their masters.
Although their good characteristics, they’ve got also problems. You have always to clean after them, to take care of their needs and, worse, you can get sick because of them. If they are not well trained, the animals will leave their “needs” everywhere in the house. Not only the smell is the problem, but these can also produce illnesses because of their germs. This is another problem about the pets. If they are not taken to doctor regularly, they can get sick and then you can get the virus from them. Not in the last place, you have to always take care of them: feed them, take them for walk, and in some cases wash them. And this isn’t cheap at all – having a pet means lots of money to pay for them.

All in all, animals have both, good and bad points, but they’ll always share with you their love.

(First Essay) Living in a city

The need of electricity and technology has forced many people to move from their countryside homes to towns and cities. However, this movement doesn’t allow us to have a healthy and long life.
To start with, living in a town gives you many opportunities like the easy ways to communicate with others, a large amount of technology and a simple way to work. Networks and mobile services are more powerful in a city than in the middle of nowhere, that’s why it’s easier to talk to people in an urban area. Because all the homes in the cities are connected to electricity, it’s a lot simple to be equipped with the technological needs: from the house helpers to entertainment. Not in the last place, the jobs are better than in the countryside. Here you have to use your brain; there you have to use your power.
On the other hand, living here has its bad parts. The pollution, the noise and the jams can make your life a living hell. The few green spaces and the tons of cars make more carbon dioxide than we can inhale, and so, we became sick. The noise made by the industrial and no owner dogs are almost insupportable, mainly when they are made after the midnight. None the less, the traffic jams are a major problem when you have to get somewhere quick, most of the times they are more than a half an hour.
In conclusion, every good thing has its own bad things, but always we have to take the good part and learn from our own mistakes. Living in a city has lots of advantages, but if you are an easy stressed person, you better choose to live in a village.

(2nd Story) A dream

Her golden shoes covered with lace were slowly walking on the fresh grass. The setting sun was shyly shining her short hair. The girl was walking carefully through the brambles, didn’t wanting to unwind her red silk dress. Her name was Sue, an eight years old child.
Suddenly, the brambles disappeared and a three meters wolf has grown from the ground. Immediately, she started to run, not looking back, only forward. Sue was like the Little Red Riding Hood, only without the hood and the basket. She was not going to her grandmother, no, but the truth is that she had no idea where she was going.
After some moments the girl hindered and fell into a precipice. She fainted, but she never fell on the ground. She was carried like a feather by the wind, like she was flying. The wind carried her into a desert. She was slowly let down on the sand.
When Sue woke up she was in the middle of the infinite sand ocean. She looked around, a bit worried about her situation. The child was alone. She got up, gently getting the dust out from her dress and looked at the sky. That wasn’t a sky; it was a giant mirror, very close to the ground. The girl could see clear her reflection.
She then touched the glass.  It got upper and upper until it disappeared. Now it was a normal blue sky. Close after that a hard wind started to blow and then it transformed into a storm. The sand was blown, revealing a metallic floor.
It started to rain, the floor being like a little pool. Sooner, the water was higher than four meters and continued to grow. Sadly, Sue didn’t know to swim.
She tried to remain as long as possible at the surface, but she couldn’t. Again, she felt like a feather, but this time a lead one. She could see nothing but dark. She knew she mustn’t breath, but she couldn’t resist any longer.
Sue finally gasped and inhaled the water. She felt herself sleepy and closed her eyes…
…Only to open them again and to realize that she was in her room, at her desk. She looked at her homework, still unfinished. Sue looked at the clock- five minutes past four a.m. That was going to be a long morning.

(First Story) The stars

In the dark sky, there are millions of creatures that are very shy. They look at us and cry other times they die and let us think they're still alive. Why do the stars care so much about our dreams, our feelings?
Think of a star, it doesn't matter which. It is just a gas that it's continuing burning... and shining brightly. Sadly, it does not have a life. It is just an unknown object. But what if it would be something like a "he" or a "she"?
Try to imagine that one of the stars was a girl, a continuing burning girl, with a long golden fire hair, which was curving from her incredible speed. She wore a large shining dress and no shoes. She was running, faster and faster... running to nowhere. She was a falling star, ready to give her last breath. The star-girl almost finished her race against the time. Suddenly, she began to pale, but continued to run faster. She was now a lighting smoke. The smoke slowly turned into... nothing.
Another star, a boy this time, was sitting on his hog throne and looked trough the Cosmic Space. He felt lonely even if around him were millions of other stars. The closest one was gone now, the wonderful star-girl we had talked about. He has known her since he was just a sparkle. A whole star childhood could mean more than five human lives, but he didn’t think about time often. He was almost immortal… almost... He wanted to follow her, it didn't matter if it was the time or not; he wanted follow. On the other hand, he was afraid. Once he started running he wouldn't be able to stop. The star would turn into a smoke and then into nothing. This was an unhappy fate for such a creature - to be forgotten
He decided to end his days. He was doing this only to be with her, somewhere else, or nowhere. He got up, his throne disappearing. It was his turn to be a fallen one. The star started to walk, then to run. A moment later, he was running so fast that his shoes were burned. He looked to Earth. Once in his life he was able to make an innocent wish come true. Thousands of people could see him. Thousand of wishes were told, but one was stronger than the others - to be loved. He closed his eyes; yes, that was a good wish. He shined more powerful than ever. That wish would come true someday, that was for sure. One of his last missions was done. He continued to run. He was unsure about his action, now irreversible.
Finally, he started to pale too. "I'm coming..." he whispered to himself. He turned into smoke, now being as light as a feather. The boy closed his eyes - the end was near.
And he was gone. No one knew it, but, to be precisely, no one really cared about it. In his place was just a sparkling dust. That was the only thing left behind- dust.
Stars are born and die everyday, even every hour. The Universe is changing constantly. A few people are interested in this.
Life is too short to be wasted. In a life time we can do the impossible, discover new limits and find out new things. To not forget, we can also observe. Observe how wonderful is this world and how hurried we are to pass it.
