Interview

Where do you live?
I live in Bucharest.

Do you like living there? What is it like?
Yes, I like almost all the time. All the things you need are not too far: cinemas, theaters, shopping centers, libraries and museums.

What kinds of facilities are available?
Bucharest is a cultural, political, transportation and business center for Romania. Here the life of the city is challenging and vibrant day and night. You may say that the city never sleeps.

Does your city/town have sports facilities, places to eat, cultural centers?
Yes, Bucharest has a lot of sport facilities, also restaurants, fast-foods, gardens, malls. There are also cultural centers besides foreign embassies, public or private universities, science or research institutions.

How about nightlife?
Nightlife is also well represented in Bucharest: there are a lot of bars, cabarets and cafes. Especially in summer time you may find performance in open-air theatre or cinemas till later in the night.

Do you like your neighbourhood? What is it like?
Yes, I like a little. There is a large lake on Dambovita river and a few parks. But also there are stray dogs and uncivilized people, so a trip around could be not so nice.

Does it have parks and lot of green spaces?
There is just a little green space in the neighbour parks.

What would you change about your neighbourhood if you could? How do you think it could be improved?
I would like to have clean and smooth roads and pavement, no dust and no stray dogs, a lot of trees, grass and flowers and, of course, only civilized people.
